01500 Dear Prof Tonge:

01900 I am familiar with Dr. Yoram Yakimovsky on the basis of his research
02000 work in our group, for his thesis. His work was outstanding, and is
02100 highly regarded in this area of research. I consider him at the top
02200 among those who have gotten degrees in our group. He is particularly
02300 strong in formal and academic material. I believe he has good
02400 potential for innovative research in the future.
02500
02600 I have not seen him teach. I have seen him present several technical
02700 talks. I found that he made a good conceptual organization of the
02800 material and was very well received. He does have difficulty with
02900 English.
03000
03100 As a student he needed to interact with other people in our group,
03200 and got along well with them. Personally, I like him, and think that
03300 he will be an asset in discussions and interactions as a faculty
03400 member.
